Choose Good Habits Always | The Inner Guide, Episode 1

In a world where people are looking to fix, develop and maintain their bodies, houses, cars and other materialistic things, only the wise will try to discipline the mind. Hence, it is crucial that we train the mind to the wholesome side, as the mind is the steering wheel of speech and bodily actions! Watch this video to understand the importance of making good habits, however difficult it is.

Find the following lines from Dhammapada Verse 1 in the sermon, and learn the translation:

Manopubbaṅgamā dhammā,
manoseṭṭhā manomayā;
Manasā ce paduṭṭhena,
bhāsati vā karoti vā;
Tato naṃ dukkhamanveti,
cakkaṃva vahato padaṃ.”

English Translation: All actions in this life are preceded by mind. Mind is their chief. They are made by mind. If one speaks or acts with an impure mind, suffering follows one like the wagon wheel that follows the foot of the ox.”
