Some days we say I had a very bad day, sometimes we say I had a really good time. When you have a bad day, we get upset. When we have a good day , we feel happy. But what we should understand is, things are not under our control. This human life is a mixture of happiness and suffering. There are 8 worldly conditions revolve around the world and the world revolves around these 8 worldly conditions. What eight? Gain, Loss, Fame, Disrepute, Blame, Praise, Happiness, Suffering/Pain. We should face those eight worldly conditions with a confident mind. The secret for this is knowing and understanding of things as they really are. Things that we are experiencing around us are impermanent. If something is impermanent and they are subject to suffering. If something is suffering that is not under our control. So my dear dhamma friends, try to understand the true nature of this life.
