We should use this Dhamma as a mirror to check if our actions are good or bad, and correct ourselves accordingly. Being humble, kind, and compassionate to others, we should live our lives just like a beautiful, fragrant flower. People tend to become arrogant when they get certain things in life. What for? We forget that everything is impermanent, and are not aware of the nature of Kamma. In a story that took place during the Buddha’s time, we learn the dangers and misery we would have to face as result of being arrogant, and the benefits of being humble and practicing wholesome habits.
